Team Pakistan is preparing to represent the country at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, the world’s largest skills competition.
The team is working to strengthen both technical readiness and international skills. Preparations also focus on teamwork, cultural awareness, and confidence.
Team-Building Session Held Before Shanghai
Organizers recently held a dedicated Pre-Shanghai Preparation and Team-Building Session. The session aimed to improve intercultural awareness and practical readiness.
Participants also learned how to work together effectively during their international experience.
Participants Learn About Life in China
Dill Mohammad Khan of WorldSkills Germany led a session on intercultural preparation for Shanghai. He explained key aspects of arrival and immigration procedures.
The session also covered connectivity and essential applications used in China. These included WeChat, Alipay, DiDi, and Amap.
Moreover, participants received guidance on transportation, accommodation, dining, communication, and cultural etiquette.
Building Confidence Beyond Technical Skills
The preparation goes beyond technical excellence. Organizers are also helping participants develop confidence and cultural awareness.
In addition, the sessions encourage team members to remain respectful, open-minded, and curious about Chinese culture.
“Our champions stand united, confident and determined as they prepare to represent Pakistan on the world’s biggest skills stage at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026,” the organizers said.

WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 will bring together skilled young professionals from around the world. Competitors will demonstrate their expertise across various technical and vocational fields.
