Pakistan Navy ship PNS Saif has reached the Maldives as part of its overseas deployment focused on strengthening regional maritime security. The visit aims to deepen naval cooperation, improve interoperability, and build stronger diplomatic ties between Pakistan and the Maldives.
Upon arrival at the Port of Male, PNS Saif received a warm welcome from Maldivian officials. During the visit, the mission commander met senior military leaders and visited the High Commission of Pakistan to discuss joint training, maritime operations, and future collaboration.
In addition, several government representatives, ambassadors, and diplomats toured the ship. The visit also featured a joint passage exercise between PNS Saif and the Maldives Coast Guard to enhance operational coordination and mutual understanding at sea.
Such deployments are part of Pakistan Navy’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relations with friendly nations. They also promote knowledge exchange, trust building, and regional stability through active engagement and collaboration.
