President Asif Ali Zardari has praised Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malkiy for strengthening the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The President made the remarks during the ambassador’s farewell call at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
Pakistan Values Saudi Partnership
Zardari said Pakistan deeply values its longstanding friendship and strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia. He also appreciated the Kingdom’s continued support for Pakistan.
Moreover, the President expressed confidence that the strong foundation built during Ambassador Nawaf’s tenure would continue to guide bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Nawaf Concludes Tenure
Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malkiy has served as Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan since 2018. During the farewell meeting, he thanked the President, government, and people of Pakistan for their warmth and cooperation.
He also said he would continue to hold Pakistan and its people in high regard.
Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation
The farewell meeting highlighted the close and strategic relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both countries continue to maintain strong cooperation across multiple areas.
As a result, the diplomatic engagement built during Ambassador Nawaf’s tenure is expected to support continued bilateral cooperation in the years ahead.
