Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty to review bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers gathering in Jeddah.
Both sides reaffirmed their intention to broaden cooperation across multiple sectors and maintain regular diplomatic engagement. Officials said the discussion reflected shared interest in strengthening political and institutional ties.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the situation in Gaza and wider regional developments. They reiterated support for international law and emphasized the importance of addressing the humanitarian and political dimensions of the Palestinian issue.
