Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation, dispatched its sixth humanitarian flight carrying 100 tons of relief supplies to Gaza. The shipment, directed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, included essential non-food items such as tents, tarpaulin sheets, and jerry cans. The effort reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to providing immediate assistance to civilians affected by the prolonged conflict.
The consignment arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt and was handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for onward delivery to residents of Gaza. Officials emphasized that careful coordination with local partners ensures the aid reaches those in need quickly, helping alleviate the hardships faced by families amid infrastructure destruction and shortages of basic necessities.
Since October 2023, Pakistan has sent a total of 25 relief consignments, amounting to 2,427 tons, to assist Palestinians. Authorities confirmed that additional shipments are planned in the coming weeks to provide continuous humanitarian support. This sustained aid effort demonstrates Pakistan’s dedication to supporting the humanitarian needs of Gaza’s vulnerable population while strengthening international cooperation for relief operations.
