WAPDA completed a digital skills program for youth from areas impacted by the Dasu Hydropower Project. Held at the Government Centennial Model High School in Dasu, the initiative spanned six months and focused on preparing participants for online work, freelancing, and e-commerce ventures.
Students learned to create digital content, market products online, manage social media campaigns, and use freelancing platforms. The program aimed to equip youth with practical skills for self-employment and long-term career opportunities in the digital economy.
A certificate ceremony marked the program’s conclusion, attended by WAPDA and NESPAK officials. They highlighted the initiative’s importance in empowering youth, boosting community development, and fostering economic growth in regions affected by the Dasu Hydropower Project.
