Russian Federation Council Deputy Speaker Konstantin Kosachev arrived in Islamabad on 11 November 2025 to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference scheduled for 11–12 November. The two-day event gathers parliamentary leaders to discuss legislative cooperation, dialogue, and issues of peace, security, and development.
Senate officials welcomed Kosachev warmly, highlighting his role as Deputy Chair of the Federation Council. The visit provides a platform for direct engagement between Pakistan’s legislature and the Russian Federation Council, fostering stronger parliamentary ties and mutual understanding during the conference sessions.
The Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference will continue until 12 November, with delegations from multiple countries exchanging views on enhancing cooperation, stability, and legislative collaboration.
