According to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Pakistan’s seafood exports increased by 38% over the past two years. This growth reflects stronger demand and improved access to international markets.
Frozen Fish Leads Seafood Exports
Frozen fish remained Pakistan’s largest seafood export. It generated more than $105 million in export revenue.
Moreover, improvements in export standards and food safety helped strengthen the sector. These measures also supported access to new international markets.

Pakistani seafood products now reach several major international markets. These include China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
