Pakistan’s Embassy in Beijing, in collaboration with China International Intellectech Co (CIIC) and China Overseas Development Association (CODA), organized a pilot job fair on Sunday. The event connected Pakistani graduates and working professionals in China with Chinese companies operating in Pakistan, supporting career development and investment under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Ambassador Khalil Hashmi encouraged participants to see themselves as “bridge builders” between Pakistan and China. He emphasized skill enhancement, professional presentation, continuous learning, and proactive engagement in opportunities such as this job fair, highlighting the embassy’s role in creating merit-based and transparent employment pathways.
CODA President He Zengwei and Education Attache Sufyan Ahmed Mian noted the fair’s dual benefits: providing Pakistani talent access to structured career opportunities while helping Chinese firms identify skilled professionals for CPEC projects. With around 400 participants registering in just 15 days and nearly 29,000 Pakistani students in China, the initiative reflects strong interest in cross-border professional collaboration.
