Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted the enduring iron-clad friendship between Pakistan and China, emphasizing strong cooperation across economic, industrial, and technological sectors. He noted that strategic collaboration under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is fostering regional stability, dialogue, and shared development for lasting peace and prosperity.
Dar explained that CPEC is entering a new phase of high-quality development, prioritizing a “corridor of people’s well-being.” Agricultural cooperation has grown, with Pakistani crops like chili, rapeseed, and sesame gaining access to Chinese markets. Training programs in China for Pakistani agricultural experts are equipping farmers with modern techniques to boost productivity and incomes.
In technology and space, Dar mentioned that Chinese investments in solar energy, electric vehicles, and industrial manufacturing are improving infrastructure and public welfare in Pakistan. Joint space missions, including nine satellite launches and the upcoming Pakistani astronaut visit to China’s space station, demonstrate the trust and depth of this iron-clad partnership. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the One-China policy and stressed the importance of opposing external interference to maintain regional peace and development.
