Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with foreign ministers from Slovenia, Denmark, Netherlands, and Cyprus in Brussels. The discussions focused on key bilateral, regional, and global matters on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum.
In his meeting with Slovenia’s Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon, both leaders explored the full range of bilateral relations. They signed an MoU establishing a mechanism for Bilateral Political Consultations and discussed Slovenia’s participation in the Pak-EU Business Forum scheduled for April 2026.
DPM Dar and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen reviewed opportunities to boost economic cooperation, trade, investment, green energy, and people-to-people exchanges. Both emphasized close coordination at multilateral platforms, particularly as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2025-26.
During talks with the Cypriot and Dutch ministers, DPM Dar highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to sustained collaboration in multiple sectors. All parties agreed to maintain regular engagement, strengthen partnerships, and cooperate within international frameworks to address common challenges.
