Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that Pakistani police officers will undergo advanced training in China. The program, in partnership with Beijing Police College, will focus on modern policing techniques, high-tech operations, and AI-assisted crime prevention.
During his visit, Minister Naqvi observed live demonstrations of tactical arrests and tested advanced driving simulators. He praised the efficiency, skills, and professional standards of the Beijing Police, noting the value of technology-driven training for enhancing Pakistan’s law enforcement capabilities.
Under the agreement, all ASP-rank officers from Pakistan’s National Police Academy will participate in a one-month program in Beijing. The training will cover AI-based policing modules, protest and violence management, and operational strategies, aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation and modernize Pakistan’s police force.
