Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong that the strong and enduring bond between Pakistan and China cannot be harmed. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad, focused on security, strategic cooperation, and protection of Chinese citizens and projects.
Ambassador Zaidong condemned recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, expressed condolences to the affected families, and reiterated China’s full support for Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts. Naqvi assured that all necessary measures, including a dedicated protection unit for Chinese nationals, are being implemented.
The discussion also covered enhanced collaboration in intelligence sharing, internal security, and cybercrime prevention. Both officials reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, emphasizing mutual trust, regional stability, and joint development initiatives.
