Punjab Minorities Minister Highlights Religious Unity at Christmas as Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora attended a Christmas event as chief guest, extending greetings to the Christian community and emphasizing the spirit of peace and togetherness.
He remarked that Pakistan respects all religions and minorities enjoy complete freedom, while praising the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her consistent support of minority welfare and participation in religious celebrations.
Sardar Arora noted that celebrations across Punjab began on December 14 and included community rallies, church events, and reopening of temples and gurdwaras to encourage inclusive participation and religious harmony.
The minister urged citizens to collectively promote Pakistan’s positive image by fostering tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among different faith communities.
