Russia Pakistan Eurasian Forum Highlights Bilateral Cooperation as speakers at the opening session emphasized public diplomacy, regional connectivity, and shared pathways for mutual development across Eurasia.
The two-day Russia–Pakistan Eurasian Forum 2025, being held from December 16 to 17 at the University of World Civilization in Moscow, is organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Embassy in Russia. The event is jointly hosted by the Consortium of Asia Pacific Eurasian Studies, the University of World Civilization, and Pakistan’s Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology.
Addressing the inaugural session, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisel Niaz Tirmizi highlighted the growing convergence between Pakistan and Russia on trade, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges. He recalled the tragic APS attack of December 16, 2014, noting shared experiences of terrorism suffered by both nations and reaffirming solidarity against extremism.
The forum brings together leading diplomats, policymakers, and scholars from both countries to discuss cooperation in diplomacy, regional stability, and long-term development, reinforcing Pakistan–Russia engagement through dialogue and institutional collaboration.
