The Chief Minister’s Youth Skill Development and Overseas Employment Programme will train 100 young people from Gwadar district for overseas employment. The programme is part of provincial efforts to provide market-relevant technical skills and job opportunities abroad.
The initiative, managed by the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA), requires districts to nominate eligible, medically fit candidates. A district-level committee led by the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar will oversee applications, medical exams, and fitness assessments.
Training will cover trades including welding, electrical work, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, machinery operation, professional driving, healthcare, nursing, and security services. The programme aims to address unemployment while creating a skilled workforce to support families and the provincial economy.
