New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) has established a temporary airplane refueling station in collaboration with Pakistan State Oil (PSO), operational since February 2. This facility ensures timely and safe refueling for all flights, supporting smooth airport operations.
The refueling station includes fuel storage, delivery equipment, and operational processes to manage fuel transportation, testing, storage, and dispensing to aircraft. Fuel can be transported via truck, following strict safety and environmental regulations.
NGIA officials emphasized that the station is crucial for maintaining flight schedules and passenger satisfaction. The facility’s infrastructure and human oversight guarantee efficient and safe refueling operations, marking a significant step in enhancing the airport’s operational capabilities.
