The Gwadar Development Authority has underlined its focus on youth engagement, public recreation and women’s participation through ongoing urban initiatives. These efforts include rehabilitation of public parks and support for sports activities in schools.
During a visit to Padi Zar Park, GDA officials reviewed restoration and expansion work aimed at improving recreational facilities for children and families. Similar upgrades are underway at other key parks to enhance safety, cleanliness and accessibility.
GDA has also distributed sports equipment to students to encourage healthy activities. Officials say these steps reflect a broader approach to urban development that balances infrastructure growth with quality of life and inclusive public spaces.
