Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a four-year extension for the Director General of the Intelligence Bureau, Fawad Asadullah.
Following the approval, the Ministry of Interior Pakistan issued an official notification confirming the extension.

Fawad Asadullah was appointed DG IB in April 2022 after promotion to Grade 22.
