China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, met with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House in Islamabad to reaffirm the strong strategic partnership between the two countries. The discussion highlighted the longstanding friendship and close cooperation in both economic and defence sectors.
Speaker Sadiq described China as Pakistan’s closest and most reliable friend, praising the countries’ all-weather relationship and shared commitment to regional stability. He emphasized that defence collaboration plays a key role in sustaining peace in the region and recalled President Xi Jinping’s historic address to Pakistan’s Parliament as a moment of pride.
Ambassador Jiang appreciated the Speaker’s remarks and stressed that the peoples of Pakistan and China share enduring bonds of friendship. He added that bilateral strategic cooperation continues to strengthen steadily, reflecting mutual trust, respect, and long-term shared interests.
