The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan met Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House in Islamabad, where both sides reiterated the depth of Pakistan–China strategic relations. The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and the long-standing partnership between the two countries.
The NA Speaker described China as Pakistan’s most trusted and reliable friend, noting that the relationship is built on mutual respect, confidence, and consistent support during challenging times. He highlighted close collaboration in economic and defence fields, stating that defence cooperation between the two countries contributes significantly to regional peace and stability. He also recalled President Xi Jinping’s address to Pakistan’s Parliament as a historic and proud moment.
The Chinese Ambassador welcomed the Speaker’s remarks and emphasized that the friendship between the peoples of China and Pakistan remains strong and enduring. He added that bilateral strategic ties continue to deepen, reflecting shared interests and a common vision for long-term cooperation and partnership.
