China has launched its first School of Space Exploration at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). The new institution aims to develop highly skilled aerospace professionals to meet the growing demands of space research and exploration.
The school will focus on key areas such as interstellar propulsion, deep-space communication, navigation, and space science. It will also act as a center for international academic exchange, sharing China’s space expertise worldwide.
Zhu Junqiang, the school’s dean, emphasized the importance of cultivating top-tier talent to support major national space projects. The initiative continues China’s decades-long commitment to space exploration and advanced scientific research.
