Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that Pakistan will not tolerate violence triggered by incidents in other countries.
Speaking to Shia ulema in Rawalpindi, Munir emphasized the role of religious leaders in promoting national unity, tolerance, and countering misinformation and sectarian narratives.
He highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for regional de-escalation and reiterated that Afghan territory must not be used for attacks on Pakistan. Religious scholars expressed full support for peace, law enforcement, and the armed forces’ efforts to maintain stability.
