The Gwadar Development Authority has initiated construction of a coastal causeway aimed at improving road connectivity along the city’s shoreline. The structure is being built with climate-resilient standards to ensure long-term durability in coastal conditions.
Authorities stated that the new link will ease travel between Gwadar and nearby western localities, especially during the rainy season when certain routes face disruptions. Officials have directed the engineering teams to maintain high construction quality and complete the work within the planned timeline.
During the visit, senior officials also inspected ongoing development initiatives, including a digital infrastructure facility and urban improvement projects. These efforts are part of broader plans to modernize public services and strengthen Gwadar’s long-term growth strategy.
