Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the UN Security Council High-Level meeting on Palestine in New York. They discussed bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with ongoing cooperation in multiple sectors.
The two ministers reaffirmed the importance of close coordination between Pakistan and Egypt, highlighting the progress made in trade, education, and other collaborative initiatives. Both emphasized the value of continued dialogue to further strengthen their strategic partnership.
They also exchanged views on developments in Gaza, the West Bank, and the wider region, stressing adherence to international law and the urgent need for unhindered humanitarian access for affected populations.
