Chinese President Xi Jinping chaired a meeting of the Communist Party of China’s Political Bureau to review the performance of key state and party institutions.
The meeting assessed work reports from the legislature, central government, top advisory body, judiciary and the Party Secretariat, approving their plans for 2026 and praising their role in meeting 2025 targets.
Officials highlighted alignment with party leadership and called for strong coordination ahead of the 15th Five-Year Plan, urging institutions to deliver a solid start to China’s next development phase.
