Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on Thursday for a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, and other senior government officials.
Meanwhile, the Turkish presidency confirmed that President Erdoğan will make a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia. He is also expected to hold separate meetings with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Focus on Regional Cooperation
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, the visit reflects the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, officials said the leaders will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation while exchanging views on regional and international developments.
