Pakistan’s Minister of State for Federal Education, Wajiha Qamar, met Qatar’s Education Minister, Lolwa bint Rashid Al-Khater, to enhance bilateral collaboration in education and vocational training. Discussions focused on improving TVET, STEM initiatives, teacher development, digital learning, and youth skills empowerment.
Both countries emphasized structured frameworks for student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and capacity-building programs. The partnership aims to improve educational quality, promote employability, and prepare students for future workforce challenges.
The meeting also highlighted ongoing education reforms in Pakistan, including innovation in competency-based learning, girls’ education, and modern vocational approaches. Qatar reaffirmed its support for Pakistan’s efforts, strengthening the strategic partnership and shared commitment to youth development and education excellence.
