Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will attend the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from January 20 to 22, 2026. He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The prime minister’s program includes participation in the IGWEL session on “Restoring a Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World” and a Pakistan specific High Level Business Roundtable with global corporate leaders. On the sidelines, he is expected to meet world leaders and business executives to discuss Pakistan’s economic priorities, trade opportunities, and investment potential.
The WEF Annual Meeting gathers political leaders, business executives, heads of international organizations, and civil society representatives to discuss key global economic, geopolitical, social, and environmental issues. PM Shehbaz’s attendance aims to present Pakistan’s vision and strengthen international engagement.
