Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports to China remained resilient during January–November 2025, reflecting steady demand for core textile inputs and a gradual expansion in value-added products. Total shipments across major textile and apparel categories reached approximately $488.5 million during the eleven-month period.
Cotton yarn continued to dominate exports, with two leading categories contributing over $386 million combined. Export momentum strengthened in the second half of the year, as shipments recorded consistent year-on-year growth from July to September, signaling improved trade stability.
At the same time, consumer-oriented segments such as women’s garments, home textiles, and made-up textile articles posted notable gains. Rapid growth in niche products, including carpets and babies’ garments, highlights emerging diversification opportunities for Pakistan’s textile industry in the Chinese market.
