Pakistan and Tajikistan are set to host their first-ever joint cultural festival at Lok Virsa on December 19-20, celebrating friendship and shared heritage. The Pak-Tajik Cultural Festival 2025, organized by Lok Virsa, PNCA, and the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, marks a milestone in cultural diplomacy between the two nations.
The two-day festival will feature live artisan demonstrations, traditional music, dance, theatrical performances, and handicraft exhibitions from both countries. Visitors can also enjoy authentic Pakistani and Tajik cuisine at dedicated food stalls. Cultural seminars and film screenings will highlight the shared history and artistic traditions of the two nations.
Renowned Tajik artists Noziya Karomatullo and Muhammadrafi Karomatullo will perform at the festival. Noziya, a recipient of the prestigious Medal “Hizmati Shoista,” and Muhammadrafi, honored as Zasluzhenny Artist of Tajikistan, will bring memorable performances to the event. The family-oriented festival underscores the role of art, music, and tradition in strengthening bilateral relations and fostering mutual respect.
The event promises to leave lasting memories and pave the way for future collaborative initiatives between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
