The Pakistan Pavilion was formally opened on June 29 at the Euro-Asia Exhibition in Urumqi, Xinjiang, signaling a dynamic move to enhance economic collaboration and cultural exchange between Pakistan and China.
The event underscored the shared commitment to regional cooperation and strengthening people-to-people ties. Among the highlights, Pakistani mangoes attracted widespread interest, with hundreds of visitors eager to taste the famed “king of fruits.” The popularity of the mangoes not only pleased attendees but also reflected Pakistan’s agricultural excellence and its export prospects in China.
For the first time, the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and the Pakistan Green Initiative took part in the exhibition, adding fresh value to the pavilion. Both organizations connected with Chinese firms and institutions to explore partnerships in logistics, green innovation, and sustainable development—key themes under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.
Beyond agricultural offerings, the pavilion showcased a wide array of premium products such as jewelry, leather apparel, designer bags, traditional crafts, and modern fashion. These exhibits celebrated Pakistan’s cultural richness while highlighting the nation’s expanding strength in textiles and creative industries
