Pakistan has extended heartfelt condolences to Thailand following the severe flooding in the country’s southern provinces. In an official message, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the Thai government and people.
He described the floods as a tragic reminder of the growing global threat posed by climate change, and offered Pakistan’s readiness to work with Thailand and other regional partners to enhance disaster resilience.
The President also conveyed warm felicitations on Thailand’s National Day, reaffirming Pakistan’s long-standing friendship and commitment to deepen cooperation.
Pakistan appreciated Thailand’s role in promoting regional peace, economic ties, and people-to-people contacts, and wished the Thai nation lasting peace, prosperity and recovery after the crisis.
