The Pakistan Army has intensified its relief operations in flood-hit areas of Bahawalpur, Alipur, and Lodhran, where heavy flooding along the Sutlej River has displaced thousands.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army is working closely with the civil administration to ensure the swift delivery of aid, medical support, and rehabilitation for the affected families. Free medical camps have been established at relief sites, providing essential treatment and medicines to those in need.
During a visit to the affected region, the Corps Commander Bahawalpur personally reviewed the progress of rescue, medical assistance, and rehabilitation measures, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to supporting victims until normalcy is restored.
These operations highlight the Pakistan Army’s proactive role in assisting citizens during natural disasters, working in collaboration with local authorities to mitigate suffering.
