The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has sent its 19th relief consignment to Gaza, adding another 100 tons of humanitarian aid and raising Pakistan’s total assistance to 1,915 tons.
The latest shipment, organised in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation, includes flour, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, jam, and fruit cocktails. It was airlifted through a chartered flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Gaza via Al Arish, Egypt.
The relief operation was carried out under the directive of the Prime Minister and coordinated by NDMA. A send-off ceremony was held at Lahore airport, attended by Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, along with officials from NDMA and Alkhidmat Foundation.
This continued effort reflects Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the people of Gaza during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
