Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted a surprise inspection at Lahore Airport to assess passenger facilitation and immigration efficiency. During the visit, he observed the upgraded system linking travelers’ identity cards with their travel history, noting how it enables quicker and smoother processing.
Naqvi interacted with travelers departing to and arriving from international destinations, gathering their feedback on the immigration experience. Passengers reported that procedures now take just two minutes, and many remarked that repeated ministerial visits have improved overall airport services.
The minister emphasized that travelers with valid documentation will enjoy smooth processing, while security measures remain strict against forged or incomplete documents. This visit underlines Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience, maintaining security, and ensuring efficient air travel. FIA Director Ali Zia and senior officials accompanied him during the inspection.
