The GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital in Gwadar treated 27,010 patients in November 2025 across outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic services. Family Medicine was the busiest department with 13,575 consultations, followed by Gynae/Obstetrics (2,590), Internal Medicine (1,224), and other specialties.
Emergency care handled 3,784 cases, with 837 inpatient admissions and 260 deliveries. Diagnostic services included 17,284 lab tests, 2,087 X-rays, 1,082 ultrasounds, and 92 CT scans. The hospital pharmacy dispensed over 480,000 medicines free of cost under the IHHN model.
November marked the hospital’s third anniversary under IHHN management, having treated over 650,000 patients to date. Phase II expansion plans will increase clinical departments from 15 to 25, add a School of Medical Technology, a medical college, and upgrade the facility to a full teaching hospital.
