 Chinese company interested to invest in Punjab

Chinese Xuchong Zinc Private Limited has shown interest to explore the opportunity for a manufacturing facility of recycled steel products from steel ash at M-3 Industrial City Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Faisalabad, Punjab.

In this regard a delegation of M/s Xuchong Zinc Pvt. Ltd. earlier this week visited Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) to explore a suitable place for a manufacturing facility of recycled steel products from steel ash.

Head of China and Southeast Desk at PBIT shared the regime of SEZ with the Chinese company and arranged their visit to M3IC, Faisalabad. The purpose of the visit was to engage them with the foreign companies operating at M3IC and interact with the management of Faisalabad Industrial Estate and Management Company (FIEDMC) for a better understanding of the business enabling environment provided to investors in SEZs of Punjab. The delegation has shown interest to invest in Punjab, according to an official of PBIT.

M-3 Industrial City SEZ is the largest industrial estate in Pakistan. It was launched as a landmark project to catalyze and suppor development of the manufacturing sector through the provision of long-life world-class infrastructure and superior commitment to quality and environment-friendly estate management.

M3 Industrial City is strategically located on motorway M-4 at Sahianwala Interchange. M-3 Industrial city connects in the north through motorway M-2  Islamabad, Peshawar, China, and Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics and in the south  Multan Sukkhar Karachi port and the deep sea port of Gwadar through well-developed motorway.
