The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum is set to take place in Beijing from March 25 to 29, with the annual theme, “Deep Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation.” The event will include plenary sessions, achievement releases, technology trading, competitions, and supporting events, featuring over 100 activities and hosting guests from more than 100 countries and regions.
This year’s forum emphasizes four key areas: building an international science and technology innovation center across Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, promoting technological and industrial innovation in cutting-edge fields like 6G, brain-computer interfaces, and cell and gene therapy, integrating education, technology, and talent development, and enhancing high-level international cooperation in science and technology.
Since its inception in 2007, the ZGC Forum has followed the theme of “Innovation and Development,” promoting open innovation and global collaboration. The forum has increasingly attracted domestic and international participants, fostering scientific exchange, technological achievements, and industrial applications across multiple sectors.
