In Beijing, spokesperson Liu Jieyi of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference said that China will continue promoting high-quality development and expand high-level opening-up under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). China aims to position itself as a stabilizing and reliable global force amid turbulence.
The annual “Two Sessions” meetings reaffirmed China’s commitment to international cooperation, foreign exchanges, and public diplomacy, emphasizing projects that strengthen Pakistan-China economic ties. Key initiatives include advancing major BRI projects, fostering inclusive economic globalization, and promoting shared prosperity and sustainable development.
Liu highlighted that China’s domestic and international efforts aim to build a world with lasting peace, universal security, and strong economic connectivity. The BRI continues to be a cornerstone for deepening Pakistan’s economic growth, infrastructure development, and regional cooperation.
