A model of the J-10CE equipped with PL-series air-to-air missiles drew particular attention at the China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC) booth. The Wing Loong-X drone was shown for the first time in a static outdoor display abroad.
For the first time, Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) presented 19 engine models, including Taihang turbofan engines and the 3D-printed KP16-3D engine. The exhibit highlighted China’s comprehensive aviation capabilities for Middle Eastern and African markets.
Experts noted that Chinese aircraft, drones, and engines offer reliable and attractive options for defense procurement. The UAE aerobatic team, Al Fursan, also performed aerobatic maneuvers using China’s L-15 trainer jets, showcasing the performance and reliability of Chinese equipment.
