In Murree, ten modern electric buses manufactured in China have arrived under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The initiative aims to improve transport access in key tourist areas.

Under the China electric buses Pakistan expansion, the new Murree fleet will operate on routes connecting Jhika Gali, Patriata, Rawalpindi, Lari, and Lawrence College.
Moreover, officials stated that the buses feature modern passenger facilities designed for comfort and affordability. The service is expected to become operational soon.

In Peshawar, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is also expanding its transport system under the same China electric buses Pakistan expansion initiative.
According to Trans Peshawar, 52 China-made buses will be added to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, increasing the total fleet to 296 vehicles.
In addition, 25 buses are expected to arrive in early July, while the remaining units will follow later.

Alongside the expansion, a dedicated pink bus service for women will also be launched in Peshawar.
