Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed that Pakistan’s campaign against terrorism will continue without interruption, declaring that operations against militant networks and their facilitators will persist until they are completely dismantled.
He made the remarks while addressing participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
Operations to Continue Nationwide
Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan would continue intelligence-led and targeted operations against terrorist groups to safeguard national security and protect citizens.
Moreover, he stressed that security forces would act decisively against terrorist infrastructure wherever it poses a threat to the country.
He added that the campaign against groups the state refers to as Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan, along with their facilitators, would continue with full force.
Focus on Peace in Balochistan
The army chief described Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan and emphasized that lasting peace in the province remains a national priority.
Furthermore, he said Balochistan’s natural resources and resilient people represent one of Pakistan’s greatest strengths.
He highlighted ongoing federal and provincial initiatives to improve infrastructure, create economic opportunities, and accelerate socio-economic development through an inclusive approach.
National Unity Remains Essential
Field Marshal Asim Munir also praised the contributions of civil society, academia, the media, and young people in promoting national integration and supporting long-term peace in Balochistan.
In addition, he said unity among the Pakistani people remains the country’s greatest strength in overcoming security and development challenges.
Commitment to Security and Development
The Field Marshal said Pakistan remains committed to eliminating terrorism while advancing development across the country.
Consequently, he called for collective efforts to strengthen national stability and build a secure and prosperous future for all citizens.
