Pakistani Students Share Their Experiences
Pakistani students actively participated alongside young delegates from around the world.
Syed Khaliq Shah, a Pakistani student at Southeast University, said the event left a strong impression on him.
“What inspired me most was the energy and passion of the young people here,” he said. “The event showed that friendship between cities is not only about agreements but also about real human connections and sustainable innovation.”
Meanwhile, another Pakistani student, Saad ur Rehman, shared insights based on his academic experience in China and his cultural background. He highlighted the importance of technological progress and cross-cultural understanding.
Both students said the event expanded their international outlook and strengthened their commitment to promoting friendship between Pakistan and China.
Visit to High-Tech Enterprises
From June 12 to 13, participating international students will travel to Wuxi in Jiangsu Province.

Expanding China–Pakistan People-to-People Exchanges
According to Jiangsu’s Foreign Affairs Office, the province has established 376 international sister-city partnerships across 71 countries.
Pakistan remains an important partner through the sister-province relationship between Jiangsu and Punjab, established in 1993.
In addition, several city-level partnerships continue to grow. Both Xuzhou and Nanjing have established sister-city ties with Lahore, while officials continue to promote more exchanges between cities in both countries.
Youth Cooperation Builds Future Partnerships
The event highlighted the growing role of youth in strengthening international cooperation.
Moreover, participation by Pakistani students reflected expanding educational and cultural links between Pakistan and China and reinforced long-term people-to-people engagement.
