Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Iran and the United States, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon.
In a statement shared on his official X account, the prime minister welcomed the development and praised the leadership of both countries for their constructive approach toward peace.
He also invited delegations from both sides to Islamabad on April 10 for further negotiations. These talks aim to reach a comprehensive agreement and resolve all outstanding disputes.
Moreover, Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that both parties showed wisdom and restraint during the process. Their engagement, he said, has contributed positively to regional peace and stability.
He expressed hope that the upcoming Islamabad Talks will lead to a sustainable and long-term resolution. In addition, he stated that more positive developments may follow in the coming days.
