China has unveiled plans to conduct a series of press conferences and group interviews to brief the media on preparations for the upcoming 80th anniversary commemorations of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
The press centre, located at the Beijing Media Centre Hotel, will host three press conferences and three group interviews. The first session is scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 a.m., during which senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Beijing municipal government, and the People’s Liberation Army will provide updates and respond to media queries.
Foreign correspondents, along with journalists from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, have been invited to register for participation through the official platform: https://kzjn80reg.zgjx.cn/applyIndex.html. To facilitate both domestic and international reporters, the centre has also launched dedicated hotlines.
These events are aimed at ensuring transparent communication and highlighting China’s preparations for the large-scale victory anniversary activities.
