President Zardari called on citizens, public and private institutions, civil society, and international partners to support persons with disabilities and respect their identity. He highlighted ongoing government efforts to improve accessibility, education, healthcare, mobility, and employment opportunities.
Steps such as the introduction of a special logo on national identity cards, issuance of disability certificates, wider access to social protection programs, and strengthened rehabilitation services demonstrate Pakistan’s resolve to create an inclusive society.
