Xi emphasized that China and Tunisia share a deep-rooted traditional friendship. In recent years, guided by both leaders, bilateral relations have steadily developed with productive exchanges and cooperation across various sectors, further strengthening their longstanding bond, Xi remarked.
He also noted that during Saied’s successful state visit to China in May, they jointly announced the establishment of a China-Tunisia strategic partnership, marking a new chapter in their relations.
Xi expressed his commitment to further developing China-Tunisia ties and said he looks forward to working with Saied to use the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year as a chance to enhance their friendship, expand cooperation in multiple areas, and ensure continued and sustainable growth of the China-Tunisia strategic partnership.
