The Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC) in Shenzhen, China, will support business-to-business initiatives between China and Pakistan, officials confirmed on Friday.
The decision came during a meeting between Muhammad Imran, Trade & Investment Counsellor at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Guangzhou, and Guo Ziyu (Xavier Gui), Director of LICC. Representatives from Shenzhen government departments coordinating economic and trade affairs were also present.
The collaboration was arranged in connection with the Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI), Lahore, becoming the first Pakistani organization to gain membership in LICC. Muhammad Imran highlighted trade and investment opportunities for Chinese enterprises in Pakistan and sought the center’s support for win-win cooperation initiatives.
David Chu, CEO of Precise Development (HK) Limited, facilitated the collaboration, emphasizing the potential for deeper economic and trade linkages between the two countries through this B2B platform.
