Pakistan marked Qatar’s National Day by reaffirming its commitment to deepen bilateral relations, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm congratulations to the Qatari leadership and people. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, the PM highlighted the strength of the long-standing partnership, built on trust, shared values, and close cooperation across multiple sectors.
Shehbaz Sharif praised Qatar’s remarkable progress under its National Vision 2030, noting that Doha has emerged as a global diplomatic player while maintaining a strong focus on human development. He emphasized that Pakistan admires Qatar’s leadership and its consistent efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
The prime minister also acknowledged the contributions of Pakistani workers in Qatar, describing them as a vital bridge between the two nations. He noted that Qatar’s expanding investments, especially in energy and emerging sectors, reflect a shared ambition for sustainable economic growth.
Addressing the broader partnership, Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to strengthen collaboration in trade, investment, security, and humanitarian initiatives. He said Pakistan stands with Qatar in the pursuit of a stable, interconnected region and looks forward to further enhancing the strategic relationship.
